This workshop will be a series about Senegalese society and culture and its relationship and interaction with the French language.

We will be talking about the history of French influence in Sénégal and also about the first Senegalese president who was the first African to get a Phd in a French University in the 20th century in 1933 , the poet Léopold Sedar Senghor .

Class takes place at 4522 Prytania Street.

This course requires B1 proficiency or above.
