Our Cajun Music Jam will return soon

L’Union Française sponsors a free Cajun Music Jam twice a month – the first and third Friday of each month.

Hopefully soon, we will be able to invite you to join us for more Cajun Music – either as a musician or as a spectator. Check back to this page periodically for schedule information. Music starts at approximately 6:30 p.m. until approximately 8:30 pm.

Our recent Cajun Jams have attracted many musicians and many instruments from guitar to bass fiddle to squeeze box.  All ages are invited to this free community event and you are welcome to bring your own drinks and food to this event, but not necessary.

Coming Soon:  Laisser L’Amour Rouler: Cajun Songs of Love and Mardi Gras with Guitarist James DeRoussel, Fiddler Greg Champagne, and Accordonist Robert Rhoden

Our first Cajun Jam took place on Friday, October 5th, 2018 and was a grand success.

James DeRoussel and his Cajun music friends played and sang Cajun French songs in an old-fashioned jam session.  About 25 people attended this first event and several took the opportunity to dance to the music.

Please check this page frequently for information regarding the schedule of our next Cajun Music Jam.
