Vive La France Classes

The Vive La France Cultural Series will continue this Fall. These classes consist of a mélange of six French cultural presentations focused on a theme or a geographical region. Each Fall and each Spring a new class series is presented. These classes are sponsored by L’Union Française and are conducted in English. The Academy of the Sacred Heart is the site of these classes, meeting on six consecutive Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 PM.

Each semester the six classes are designed around a theme, a region or a relevant topic.  The classes always include French cuisine and French wines/spirits.  Past and future presentations include artists, architecture, customs, cinema, history, literature, cheeses, regional travel, music and other topics suggested by our distinguished presenters and students.

The 2018 Fall Semester will begin on Tuesday, September 25th with the theme, specific class abstracts and presenters announced in the middle of August.   The information will be placed on this website.
